Joel Batchelor, otherwise known as “The Batchelor,” traces his passion for music back to the young age of three, where his next door neighbor would come over and give him music reading & drumming lessons. If he wasn’t at home on his drum set he was drumming on anything & everything nearby, from his desk at school to the dinner table at home. His love for music transferred to the turntables at 11, where he would roller skate with his family & sneak his way into the DJ booth to see all of the equipment. Fast forward to today as passion has changed over into profession, and Joel can be found spinning music for many lovely, newly married couples on their most important day, along with countless enthralled guests looking to sip & step into the night in style in some of the area’s premiere nightspots. Joel’s eclectic & expansive taste in music is sure to keep heads nodding and bodies moving from first beat to last call.
